The summer of oranges and cowboys

Hey, Old Sports!

June is coming to a close but summer is just beginning, which means it’s Gatsby’s prime season! So I went ahead and illustrated him with his peacock welcoming you into the summer sun.

I really do love him being in his element and if possible I’d actually like a tapestry version of this illustration. For now, however, you can grab a postcard of him from my “Here’s to You” and up tiers on Patreon. You can also grab a sticker of the orange peacock! (Very rare bird) I’ve actually just added a sticker only reward tier for people who’d like to collect just that. Check out the “Birds of a Feather” tier if that sounds up your alley.

All June I’ve been busy creating and researching and setting up a kickstarter to launch my first apparel drop! The brand will be going under the name 777 Saint Monroe and this first collection - CUNTry Cowboy- is sleazy cowboy themed. I’m still gathering last minute estimates from my fulfillment team but when the pre launch is available in July I’ll be sure to let y’all know! There’ll be button ups with my Pearl bridle cowboy design and crop tops too (so long as we hit those stretch goals) as well as a silk scarf, a print illustration, tote bag, and stickers!

I’m very excited to debut this apparel dream of mine and am excited to see yall potentially show off some of the treats. (Honestly I’ve already started on several other apparel designs 🤞🏾😶 so fingies crossed all goes well)

Speaking of fashion designers- I’m also working on the inking for pitch pages of Gatsby. I can’t share them all as like 5 sequential pages have spoilers in them (although what I can share will pop up on Patreon first😌) I will share a 1 page sequential that has remnants of chapter 2 when I first posted on Webtoons. It’s a scene where the sounds of Gatsby’s fireworks next door weave into Nick’s PTSD war nightmares.

Yeah..old sport 1# has some troubling thoughts.
