In the very near future: Ita Bags and Comic chat
New Gatsby webtoon upload, New 777 apparel, Saturday comic chat
Hey, Old Sports
Gatsby Webtoon Mini Comic
New mini comic uploaded to the Gatsby Webtoon! Taking the webcomic out of hiatus with shorts centering the characters as I continue to work on the main story. The first mini comic centering around Daisy and her previous stage life.

I mentioned in a recent reel/tiktok about how I pulled some influence for Daisy’s dancing career and married life from one of her og muses- Zelda Fitzgerald. Zelda had a short lived ballet avocation that eventually got snuffed out (much of the blame coming from Scott being less than supportive). A book that Zelda wrote and serves as a “what if” story for her ballet life, choosing to purse it, is “Save Me The Waltz” if you’d like to read more.
The mini comic went hand in hand with the April Vintage Variety Mail Club postcard featuring Daisy trapped and cramped in a theater space watching doll dancers mockingly perform in front her.

The April’s postcard already went out (and May’s is being drawn right now) but it can be purchased on my shop!
8ball Ita Bag
Teased at C2E2- the 8ball Ita bag is going on preorder May 19th! If you’d like a whimsical yet stylish bag for your pins, photocards, or just for the look than keep an eye out for an incoming newsletter next Tuesday alerting you when the bag goes live!

This is a custom embroidered, canvas bag with star zipper accessories, billiard green accents, and straps for shoulder or backpack style wear.
The Preorder will last til June 18th.
CUNTRY Crop Tops
Arriving Monday (according to my UPS tracker)- the CUNTRY Crop Tops will be in the shop! Appreciate the continued patience, as there were a timing delays from Chinese New Year and general shipping, as well as making sure all final adjustments were corrected.
I will have a limited quantity and once they’re gone, they may be gone for good, as I’m already planning out the new collection. The crop tops are a baggy fit ranging from small to 2XL!

CUNTRY cotton scarves, however, are in stock! If you’d like a sleazy, cuntry bandana then grab them while you can

Historical Comics Chat
I got invited by the Cartoonist Coop to join a panel hosted by Reimena Yee for the Nib and Ink Festival. The festival covers various panels by comic artists sharing their advice and thoughts on the craft.
The panel I’ll be in- with Reimena and Sierra- will tomorrow May 16th at 9pm EST GMT hosted here. We’ll be chatting about the highs and woes of crafting a historical comic, sharing what tips we can.

General Catch Up
After back to back conventions- enjoyed it but very tiring- I took a short trip to Miami. Originally it was supposed to be a train-ride-away-cation but while I was looking up things to do I came across a cool mansion. Cool mansions are my weakness.
I visited Villa Vizcaya- a winter home built in the mid1910s/early1920s- for James Deering . An Italian Renaissance villa with the perfect indoor courtyard and garden for me to snap inspo for Gatsby’s mansion. (Which is being built on the Sims atm heh)

In addition to Vizcaya, I finally made pilgrimage to Versace’s! Former home of the talented designer Gianni Versace. The only way to get in- aside from spending $$$ to sleep in the now converted hotel- is to dine in the restaurant and hope you get poolside views.
Pretty happy to say I got one of the best poolside views to enjoy my lunch and gold margarita. It was one of those “play rich” moments and I really enjoyed it. Definitely gave me a mini boost.

Now it’s back to finishing the final draft for Gatsby main. Aiming for completion at the end of the month. So if I seem extra quiet online, most likely cause I’m writing and juggling many things.
That’s all from me for now- oh and go check out Devil Wears Prada 2 and I Love Boosters when it comes out if you’d like some fun, fashion films.
Til the next newsletter with word on the 8ball Ita Bag drop!
Thanks again for reading and supporting what I do; it's always appreciated.
Til then, stay rad, Old Sport,
-Vincent
